RWE Innogy plans to build first open-sea wind farm, Innogy Nordsee 1, off the German coast

ESSEN, GERMANY --
RWE Innogy today announced that it has acquired the project company ENOVA Energieanlagen GmbH, which is part of the ENOVA Group. This acquisition includes the rights to the offshore wind project North Sea Windpower 3 (NSWP3). Following the acquisition, the wind farm will be renamed Innogy Nordsee 1. Upon approval from the authorities, this will be the largest planned offshore wind farm off the German coast with an anticipated 960 megawatts capacity. It is to be built 40 kilometres north of the North Sea island of Juist, with a area of around 150 km2. |

Q-Cells affirms growth forecast for 2009

Q-Cells SE (QCE; WKN 555866) confirms its growth forecast for
2009. For next year, the company is targeting a production volume of more than one Gigawattpeak
(GWp). Due to the reduced production targets of the silicon supplier Elkem Solar, the agreed deliveries
to Q-Cells SE will not be completely achieved. However, additional deliveries have already been
secured with other contract partners so that the production objectives for 2009 are not in jeopardy. |

contract with Shandong Electric Power Engineering
Consulting Institute (SDEPCI) to provide engineering

turbine island, which will be constructed in Shandong
province on the eastern coast of China. The value of the
contract, which will be included in Shaw's second
quarter fiscal 2008 backlog, was undisclosed. |

Shaw Selected as Alliance Partner by RWE npower for New-Build Power Generation Program in the United Kingdom

Group Inc. (NYSE: SGR) today announced that its Power
Group has been selected by RWE npower as its alliance
partner to develop two new carbon capture and storage
ready supercritical coal-fired power stations being
considered at Tilbury, Essex and Blyth, Northumberland
in the United Kingdom. As RWE npower's alliance partner,
Shaw has been awarded a development services contract to
provide stage-one support for the proposed power
generation program of up to 5 x 800 MWe generation
units. The value of Shaw's development services
contract, which was not disclosed, will be included in
the company's third quarter fiscal 2008 backlog. |
